Vincent Oakley: Home

Vincent Oakley qualified as a solicitor in 1985. He is the sole principal of this practice. He is a member of the British Association of Brain Injury and Complex Case Management and is a life member of Headway, The National Brain Injury Association. He is assisted by Claire Oakley. She qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser in 2006. She is not a solicitor. She may advise on the taxation aspects of any work we undertake. James Burgess is a paralegal with the practice providing general support and assistance.

We have a busy practice dealing with Lasting Powers of Attorney, Wills, Probate, Trusts and taxation issues in those areas. We also do a lot of Court of Protection deputyship work for people who have suffered severe brain injury.

Normal Hours and dress code

We work flexi - time and we are usually open as follows:

Monday - Friday 07:00 - 10:00 (flexi time)

Monday - Friday 10:00 - 14:00 (core time)

Monday - Friday 14:00 - 19:00 (flexi time)

We appreciate that many clients cannot visit our office so we do lots of home visits where this is appropriate. This is especially the case for families looking after someone who needs full time care.

Our office is at a Tennis Club so when you visit you will see lots of members in tennis, squash or gym kit. We have an informal dress code and may see you wearing sports kit or rubber fill flops, shorts and T shirts in the hot summer weather.
